I have taught elementary school for more than 25 years in San Antonio, Texas; more than 17 years have been spent teaching gifted and talented students K-5. I also publish a blog called, "Engage Their Minds." My educational interests are in technology integration, STEM, maker education (including design thinking), promoting a growth mindset, and making sure every student has access to an education that allows him or her to work to full potential.
