Marcos Cortez is wrapping up his 17th year of teaching. His teaching experience includes small learning communities, academies, and traditional classrooms. He also voyaged through the Eastern Caribbean and taught humanities aboard a double-masted schooner as part of the faculty at Tall Ships Education Academy. He currently teaches English and multimedia journalism in Silicon Valley.
