Kristin Raia
Math Specialist
Kristin Raia is a lower school math specialist at an independent school in Providence, Rhode Island. She has more than 15 years of teaching experience in K-6 and has always had a passion for math education. Kristin has a BA from Providence College in elementary/special education and a MAT in teaching mathematics from Mount Holyoke College. As a former honors math student who survived on memorizing rules and tricks, Kristin’s focus is on ensuring that all students have the opportunity to explore and make sense of mathematics, not just find answers.
