Dr. Kathryn Welby is the director of teacher preparation and assistant professor of practice at Merrimack College. Dr. Welby has an extensive background in presenting research and professional development nationally for teachers, administrators, and scholars. Dr. Welby holds Massachusetts licensures as a special education administrator, principal, moderate disabilities teacher, and elementary education teacher. She brings years of practitioner experience into her course development, teaching, publishing, research, and professional development.
