Karen has been an educator for 18 years. For the last 12 years she has been an Instructional Technology Coach leading teachers and students to embrace technology. She currently works for Beverly Hills Unified School District supporting teachers and students at the middle and high schools. Ìý

Karen is a ISTE Certified Educator, a Google Certified Trainer and Educator Level 1 and 2, Co-Leader for the Google Education Group in Southern California (GEG_SoCal), a Common Sense Media Ambassador and the Co-Founder of EdCampLAN. She is also part of the Curriculum Development Team for , a nonprofit organization that creates and distributes curricula related to copyright. She is passionate about providing all artists with an equitable environment to create, produce, and share.Ìý
